Welcome to Year 6

Year 6 at Meynell is a purposeful and uplifting place where pupils are encouraged to aim high, believe in themselves and take pride in what they can achieve. It is a year filled with opportunities to explore new ideas, grow in independence and work together as responsible members of our school community.

The classroom is a warm, supportive environment where every child feels valued and inspired to do their best. Through engaging lessons, meaningful projects and increasing leadership roles, pupils learn to face challenges with confidence and celebrate their successes.

As their final year at Meynell, Year 6 prepares children for secondary school with ambition, resilience and a strong commitment to our school values — to aspire, achieve, explore and believe in themselves and their future.
